Being born as the son of the late Maasai paramount Chief Lerionka Ole Ntutu, Sankale inherited the position from his father. Sankale learned key lessons from his father and grandmother about leadership and human relationship skills because he was given great responsibilities within his tribe at the early age of 7. As a result, he often had to represent his father during community meetings held amongst the elders. Besides functioning as Community Chief in the Maji Moto region, he is a true naturalist who enjoys sharing the fascinating environment of Kenya to visitors as a nature guide. By transferring his knowledge about wildlife, edible and medicinal plants and bush craft skills, he tries to let people understand the importance of nature and how we can live in harmony with nature. Combining his leadership skills and knowledge about nature, Sankale has been traveling the world to help leaders of modern societies reconnect with their surroundings.
